The Service Engineer (SE) will serve two functions within CUE; presales technical support and post-sale operations:
Pre-sale Technical Support – The CUE offering is a complex service offering where expertise is needed in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC mechanical systems, energy engineering, systems integration, and metering technologies. The ideal candidate will also have a general understanding, with the ability to gain deep knowledge of electricity markets and demand response programs.
CUE has remote sales professionals and third party sales channel partners that sell the offering in key local markets. These sales efforts require technical assistance to understand existing building systems and possible integration paths and associated upgrade requirements and costs. The SE will assist sales professionals and channel partners with estimates, technical presentations, and training to help drive revenue.
Post-sale Operations – CUE has existing buildings online and continues to build the sales pipeline and close new projects. The SE will assume an operational role and be a key resource in project implementation and ongoing support. Implementation tasks will include working with key stakeholders at customer buildings and collaborating with their mechanical and BAS vendors to ensure successful implementation. Typical implementations include integrating to legacy BAS, managing and sometimes contracting for metering installations, and planning with chief engineers.
